Art is Truth
I inhabit a world coloured and expanded by the men and women seeking to communicate talents contained outside of institutions, talents that are taking the art world to new and exciting heights, the next level with enough room for myself and others alike to be more than just artists but also unlimited expressionists, voicing out heart-felt emotions and lessons of life.

Tumelo Kgwathe, better known as DJ SistaMatic is originally from Soweto moved to Inner City Johannesburg, South Africa. Was born into the Hip Hop culture and embracing all elements ended up with deejaying which began at Club Metropolis 154 Market Street, Joburg under the mentorship of DJ Blaze, Hip hop veteran and DJ extraordinaire.
As a young black female deejay I have made quite a name for myself through the art of scratching as well as a signature track selection which I prefer to describe as unique mix of underground gems, old school classics and only the finest of African rap music. A SistaMatic set is non mainstream yet musically appealing, non typical rather pleasantly unpredictable.
I have had residential slots at various clubs in and around Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town. Have and still do enjoy regular park jams both in the city and e kasi.
